A well-established British International School in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced University American Counsellor to join its team immediately. The school follows the British curriculum and provides strong university guidance support for students applying to top international universities, particularly in the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive guidance on US university applications and admissions processes.
Support students with college selection, applications, essays, and interviews.
Advise on SAT/ACT requirements, timelines, and university pathways.
Work closely with students, parents, and teaching staff to ensure successful outcomes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of US higher education trends and requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Recognised teaching or counselling qualification.
Experience with GCSE, A-Level, and/or IB students preferred.
Strong understanding of the US university admissions system.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: 16,000 – 18,000 RM per month.
