School Description:
A British International School in Kuwait is seeking a qualified Librarian to support its academic community from August 2026. The school follows the British curriculum and values literacy, research skills, and a love of reading across all key stages.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the school library and learning resources
Promote reading and information literacy across the school
Support students with research and study skills
Organise literacy initiatives and library events
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support curriculum needs
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree issued from the UK
UK PGCE & QTS (essential – candidates without these cannot be considered)
Experience working within a school setting preferred
Strong organisational and communication skills
Commitment to supporting literacy and academic development
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: £2,700 – £3,400 per month
Accommodation: Provided or housing allowance
Benefits: Flight allowance and medical cover
