Key Stage One Teacher Cover People are currently recruiting for a Key Stage One Teacher for a full-time role, in a Primary School in Oldham from November 2020. The Role A warm and welcoming Primary School based in Oldham are looking for a Key Stage One Teacher to work within their Year 1 class. The successful Teacher will be required to plan and deliver all lessons, helping to develop an engaging learning environment with the aid of an experienced classroom Teaching Assistant. Responsibilities • Plan and deliver creative and diverse lessons to children of all abilities. • Direct TA to support children where required • Report on class performance • Implement behavioural strategies • Adhere to school safeguarding policy • Experience of teaching towards SATS • RC teaching qualification preferred but not essential The School Located in North Manchester the school has been pulled out of the ashes under an experienced and proactive new head teacher. His belief in a child led learning environment has inspired a creative teaching approach within the school where the children are excited to learn. Due to a very high EAL population where many parents don’t speak English the school also invites parents in to the school where they are helped by their children under staff guidance to learn basic English.
