Job Description:
An established international school in Bahrain is looking to appoint a passionate and experienced IB English Teacher for the August 2026 academic year. The school delivers the IB curriculum and is dedicated to fostering academic excellence, creativity, and a love of learning in a diverse international community.
This role is ideal for an English educator with a strong command of the IB framework and a desire to contribute to a collaborative and student-centred environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach English within the IB MYP and/or DP framework

Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that promote analytical and creative thinking

Assess student learning in line with IB expectations and provide constructive feedback

Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and interdisciplinary learning

Participate actively in school life and professional development initiatives
Requirements:

Fully qualified teacher with a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent)

Proven experience teaching English within the IB curriculum (MYP and/or DP)

Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high academic standards

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

A passion for international education and the IB learner profile
