A reputable international school in Shanghai is seeking a qualified Homeroom Teacher to join its team from August 2026. The school delivers both the British and IB curricula and provides a supportive international learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and teach a homeroom class across the relevant key stages
Plan, assess, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the British and IB curricula
Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with parents and staff
Contribute to departmental and whole-school development
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree with a recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching within the British or IB curriculum
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: 30,000 – 40,000 RMB per month
Accommodation: Housing allowance provided
Benefits: Annual flight allowance, medical cover, child places, and a fully paid 12-month contract
