Job Description:
The Head of Science plays a crucial role in leading and managing the Science department within an educational institution. Job Duties:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Science curriculum in line with educational standards and objectives
- Provide leadership and guidance to Science department staff
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching methods and resources
- Coordinate with other departments to integrate Science into interdisciplinary projects
- Manage departmental budgets and resources efficiently
- Organise and oversee Science-related extracurricular activities and events
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field
- Teaching qualification or certification
- Demonstrated experience in leading a Science department
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Science
- Strong knowledge of Science curriculum development and assessment
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate staff and students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Science Education or a related field

Working Conditions:
