A British International School in Spain is seeking a Head of Department for Humanities who will also teach Business Studies, starting in August 2026. The school follows the British curriculum and offers IGCSE and A-Level programmes within an international learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Humanities department
- Teach Humanities and Business Studies across relevant key stages
- Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the British curriculum, including IGCSE and A-Level
- Monitor student progress and support academic development
- Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
Requirements:
- A degree with a recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching the British curriculum
- Experience delivering IGCSE and A-Level subjects
- Strong leadership and communication skills
