A BSME-accredited British International School in Cairo, Egypt is seeking an experienced Deputy Head (Pastoral) to join its senior leadership team from August 2026. The school follows the British curriculum and places strong emphasis on student wellbeing, safeguarding, and pastoral care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee whole-school pastoral provision
- Support student wellbeing, behaviour, and safeguarding systems
- Work closely with senior leadership, teachers, and families
- Contribute to strategic leadership and school improvement
- Support and develop pastoral teams across the school
Requirements:
- A relevant degree and recognised teaching qualification
- A minimum of two years’ experience teaching within the British curriculum
- Strong pastoral leadership experience within a school setting
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: £46k–£52k per annum, tax-free (70% paid in GBP)
