Key Responsibilities:
Teach Chemistry at Secondary level following the British Curriculum.
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that develop strong subject knowledge and practical scientific skills.
Prepare students for external examinations such as GCSE, A-Level and/or IB where applicable.
Assess, track and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of mixed-ability learners.
Contribute to the development of the Science department, including curriculum planning and resource development.
Support and participate in science-related clubs, competitions, and wider school activities.
Requirements:
A relevant degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE or equivalent).
Experience teaching the British Curriculum (GCSE, A-Level and/or IB experience is highly preferred).
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in Chemistry.
Previous international teaching experience is advantageous but not essential.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: 18,000–19,000 RM per month, depending on experience.
