An established British International School in Gdańsk is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Biology Teacher to join its thriving Science department. The school delivers the British Curriculum and emphasises hands-on learning, scientific inquiry, and academic achievement. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Biology within the British Curriculum framework at Secondary level.

  • Create interactive, practical, and engaging lessons that promote scientific understanding.

  • Assess and track student progress using a range of methods.

  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to support academic growth.

  • Maintain a safe, well-organised learning environment, especially during practical activities.

  • Contribute to science events, curriculum development, and extracurricular STEM initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Biology or a closely related discipline.

  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS).

  • Experience teaching the British or IB Curriculum (essential).

  • Strong subject expertise and a passion for inspiring young scientists.

  • International school experience is beneficial but not required.
