SEN Teaching Assistant Cover People are currently recruiting for a SENTA to support a child with severe ADHD and Behaviour problems with can often become violent sue to the nature of the child’s. The Role An Ashton based Primary school are currently looking for a highly experienced SENTA to work 1:1 with a child who has very challenging needs. The child is currently in Year 1 however should be in Year 2 as they have been held back. The school are looking for an EYFS specialist for this role. The child is very active and due to the nature of continuous provision moves around the classroom a lot. The candidate must have: • Experience and knowledge of supporting children with SEN • Excellent behaviour management skills • Proven history of working with children with very challenging behaviour • Knowledge and experience of EYFS • Excellent communication skills • DBS on update register • References for last 2 years work history • Up to date CV The School The school offers a broad, balanced and engaging curriculum challenges the children’s learning and understanding, provides opportunities for them to lead their own learning and encourages them to ask and answer their own questions.
