An established International School in Shanghai is seeking a qualified Social Emotional Counsellor to join the team from August 2026. The school delivers a rigorous academic programme through the AP and A Level curriculum, providing students with a high-quality international education in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide social and emotional support to students across relevant grade levels
- Develop and implement student wellbeing programmes
- Work closely with staff, parents, and leadership to support student development
- Monitor student wellbeing and provide appropriate interventions
- Contribute to whole-school wellbeing initiatives
Requirements:
- A relevant degree in Counselling, Psychology, or a related field
- Previous counselling experience in an educational setting
- Fluency in Chinese is a mandatory requirement
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: 30,000 – 35,000 RMB per month (including housing allowance)
Benefits: Annual return flights and medical cover
