Primary Teaching Assistant

Cover People are currently recruiting Teaching Assistant for a full-time role in a Primary School in Manchester M14. The role is to start as soon as possible.

The Role

A primary school in Manchester M14 is currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to provide support within their resourse provision. They are looking for a SEN Teaching assistant who has experience working with children with challenging behaviour and complex SEN. The successful candidate would be required to support the teacher witin the resource provision, working with SEN children in small groups. The educator will be responsible for ensuring the pupils are able to finish their work by differentiation activities, helping maintain a calm environment and ensuring the children within the resource provision are being supported throughout the day through play learning.

The candidate must have:

  • 6 months experience working with children
  • Experience and knowledge of supporting children with SEN
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • DBS on update register
  • References for last 2 years work history
  • Up to date CV
