Nurture Teacher Cover People are recruiting on behalf of a large and friendly South Manchester School for a Nurture Teacher to join their team in ASAP until Christmas as part of the national catch up programme. The school are seeking a KS2 specialist to assist Year 7 (11/12 year olds) in their nurture group. There will be a large focus on Maths and English and nurturing positive development of social skills. This is a main stream school, however these students have some additional emotional requirements. The Role The successful Nurture Teacher will be required to support whole classes and students on a 1:1 basis. The students are within Year 7 . The role is 2 days a week and will probably go beyond Christmas dependent on the impact of the lessons on the children. The ideal candidate will have extensive year 6 experience.
