Cover People UK are seeking excited Humanities Teachers to join our team, located in Trafford, Manchester. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching humanities subjects such as History, Geography, and/or Religious Studies, we have a variety of supply teaching roles and ongoing roles.
Key Responsibilities of a Humanities Teacher:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and standards.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to effectively engage students in the learning process.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student learning and encourages participation.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support the overall educational experience.
- Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities, events, and initiatives.
Qualifications of a Humanities Teacher:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Humanities, or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience as a Humanities Teacher performing at the secondary level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
