Job Title: Head of Secondary

A well-established British International School in Chengdu is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Secondary to join its leadership team from August 2026. The school delivers a combination of the British and IB Curricula and is known for its strong academic standards, inclusive ethos, and commitment to whole-school development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across the Secondary phase
- Oversee curriculum delivery for British and IB programmes
- Lead, support, and develop Secondary teaching staff
- Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment
- Support student achievement, wellbeing, and behaviour
- Work closely with senior leadership to drive school improvement
- Maintain strong communication with staff, students, and parents
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject
- Recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years’ teaching experience within the British or IB Curriculum
- Proven leadership experience at Secondary level (preferred)
- Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment, and school improvement
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: 50,000 – 60,000 RMB per month
