English Teacher Cover people are recruiting on behalf of a large secondary school in South Manchester for a English Teacher. The school are currently ofsted “good” and have recently come out of “requires improvement” the school are going through a phase of rapid improvement. This is an exciting opportunity for a ECT or experienced teacher to make a real difference to the overall outcomes of students. The Role The successful applicant must have the following: PGCE or NARRIQ with QTS The role will entail teaching years 7 to 11 and experience in OCR and AQA Ks4 delivery would be advantageous. The role will also entail supporting students with SEND requirements and those receiving pupil premium funding. An engaging teaching style that is versatile and accessible would also be advantageous. The School The school is a large school in south Manchester currently rated as good. Students are polite and respectful and the school has a large 6th form. The English department are a party of 4 who are looking for 2 new teachers to join them for at least 6 months and possibly beyond.
