Teaching Assistant- Bury
Cover People are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a full-time role in a Primary School in Bury.
A primary school in Prestwich is currently looking for a TA to provide support both inside and outside the classroom. The candidate will be expected to support the children with learning both 1-2-1 and in small groups. Good behaviour management skills will be key and you will be expected to support the behaviour within the class room. The successful candidate would be expected to run interventions on Maths, English and Reading so good knowledge of the curriculum is key. You will also be expected to have knowledge and work with children with additional needs and will have to support their emotional and social development
The candidate must have:
• 6 months experience working with children
• Experience and knowledge of supporting children with SEN
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• DBS on update register
• References for last 2 years work history
• Up to date CV
