Are you an Early Years or Childhood Studies graduate who is looking to start their career within an educational setting?
Cover People are seeking recent graduates who have a degree in Childhood Studies or Early Years to work within our Primary Schools as Teaching Assistants, using your knowledge to support students in their learning. You will work towards positively impacting social development and well-being.
Location: South Manchester
Employment Type: Full-time (Monday-Friday 8:30- 3:30 pm; depending on the school).
What you will need:
- A degree in Early Years or Childhood Studies, with a minimum of 2:2.
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting or nursery.
- Experience working with vulnerable children with SEN needs.
- To be empathetic and passionate about working with children and keeping them safe.
- An up-to-date DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
You will:
- Work with children in 1:1 or group settings, supporting their learning.
- Assist the teacher in the classroom, supporting behaviour management.
- Create an inclusive and nurturing environment.
