Teaching Assistant – Chesterfield Cover People are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant in a school based in Chesterfield. This role is Full Time to start as soon as possible. The Role The role is for a Teaching Assistant to support 5 days per week at an Academy in Chesterfield. This may involve peripatetic working in pupils homes or public venues and so they must have a car and business insurance. They may be involved in reading interventions and phonics with pupils on site in the morning and then small group or 1:1 in the afternoon, or out in the community. This is due to increasing pupil roll. As such the school have requested applications from candidates with recent school support experience. The School This is an Academy providing programmes of education to pupils identified as being at risk of exclusion, or who have already been permanently excluded from mainstream education. They meet the varied and complex needs of children in Key Stages 2, 3 and 4.
