Design and Technology Teacher – Tameside September 2021 Cover People are working with a successful school in Tameside to help them find a Design and Technology Teacher for years 7-11. This is a vibrant secondary school that use the Edexcel Curriculum. The successful teacher will have a vision to promote social, personal and employability skills as well as offering a progressive curriculum. The Role You will be joining a bustling department of 6 full time DT teachers which include a curriculum and assistant curriculum leader. The department also includes the schools Assistant Vice Principal. The school is located within a short distance from the local train station/Bus stop and M60/M56, meaning it is easily accessible for those who drive. The School The School is larger than average and offers children the opportunities to study DT up until A Level in all DT subjects. The school are keen to improve academic attainment especially with science so a keen and driven teacher with plenty of ambition would be of great interest to the school.
