SEN EYFS Teaching Assistant Cover People are currently recruiting for a SENTA for a Full time role in a Primary School in Rochdale to start ASAP. This role is subject to SEN funding and could possibly run until the end of the academic year at the earliest. The Role A Primary School based in Rochdale are looking for a Teaching Assistant with Experience of supporting children with SEN to provide 1-2-1 support in KS2. The successful Candidate will be supporting a child with specific SEN both in and outside of the classroom. You will need excellent behaviour management skills, be patient, calm and have the ability and desire to above and beyond in order to support the child’s needs. You must have: • 6 months experience working with children • Experience and knowledge of supporting children with SEN • Excellent behaviour management skills • A nurturing and caring nature • Excellent communication skills • DBS on update register • References for last 2 years work history • Up to date CV The School The school is in a deprived area of Rochdale with high levels of EAL.
