We are looking for a passionate and experienced Social Studies teacher to join an esteemed international school in Kuwait. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons in line with the American curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to support student learning and well-being.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Teaching certification or license in Social Studies.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.
- Familiarity with the American curriculum and teaching standards.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
