I am currently recruiting for a teaching assistant to for a full time ongoing role in a secondary school in Rochdale The Role Teaching Assistant supporting teaching and learning in a secondary school Five days a week The role will vary depending on the needs of the school but is likely to include supporting teenagers with additional needs ranging from Supporting teenagers with autism or Asperger's or ASD Supporting teenagers with moderate learning difficulties such as dyslexia , dyspraxia and dyscalcula Supporting teenagers with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties Supporting teenagers with mental health needs and anxiety Teaching assistant qualifications would be beneficial Experience of working with teenagers in a youth work setting or as part of extracurricular activities such as sports clubs or religious groups would be beneficial •A background in social care such as children's social worker, family support or adults with mental health would also be considered The School Church of England secondary Academy Improving school working to regain its previous Good Ofsted status Positive community focused school Onsite Alternative provision to provide specialist intervention Excellent facilities for teaching and learning Easily accessible by bus and car The Benefits Full time ongoing temporary role Excellent support from department and senior leadership team Competitive pay rates May become permanent All candidates are subject to standard safeguarding and employment checks including a face to face interview ( currently via Video call) and DBS checks.
