Reception Teaching Assistant Cover People are currently recruiting for a TA for a full-time role in a Primary School in Stockport to start ASAP on an on-going basis. The Role A primary school in Stockport is currently looking for a TA to work full time 8:40AM – 3:20PM Monday to Friday. The role will be as a General TA floating between classes but majority will be spent within the Reception class. You will need to have knowledge of the whole school curriculum as you may be required to work in multiple year groups. Prior experience supporting within EYFS is preferable. The candidate must have: - Prior experience working with children - Passion to support pupils in EYFS / Reception age - Excellent communication skills - DBS on update register - References for last 2 years work history - Up to date CV The School The school is a 1 form entry and has been “Good” for some years. The SLT are very supportive of personal development and may offer courses throughout the course of the academic year. The school have a higher level of students with English as an additional language. The excellent leadership at all levels has created a very strong sense of teamwork amongst the staff. The pupils have high attendance levels and great results on SAT’s.
