Cover People UK are recruiting for a Psychology Teacher for a Secondary School in North Manchester.

- Availability: Full time, Monday to Friday
- Teach KS5 Psychology and some Sociology lessons
- Experience teaching A Level Social Science subjects in the UK
- Mainstream Secondary School
This post could suit either an experienced teacher or someone early in their career (e.g. an ECT). This vacancy is a full time position to start as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Psychology lessons to KS5 students, following the A-Level curriculum.
- Support students in achieving their academic potential through high-quality teaching and effective assessment.
- Monitor student progress, provide regular feedback, and adjust teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Foster an environment that encourages critical thinking, analysis, and a deep understanding of psychological concepts.
- Collaborate with other staff members and contribute to departmental goals and school-wide initiatives.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE 14+
- Proven experience teaching Psychology at KS5 level, with strong knowledge of the A-Level curriculum.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- A passion for Psychology and a dedication to helping students succeed.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
