KS1 Teacher - Tanzania
Worldwide Teaching are currently recruiting on behalf of a quickly developing private school in East Africa.
The school stands in a truly idyllic setting between Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru. Surrounded by avocado and coffee plantations. They are blessed with extensive and mature grounds, recently refurbished buildings and specialist teaching rooms. The'outdoors' plays a huge part in school and they are surrounded by sports pitches, gardens, hard netball/tennis courts and a 25m swimming pool.
The school is looking for a Teacher of Key Stage 1. There may be opportunities to teach some sport/PE/Art/Music; and they currently have some flexibility, depending on the strengths of individual candidates. The school are looking for someone who is flexible, organised and with a good sense of humour/adventure ;and who is prepared to give their time and energy to the post.
Requirements:
- Experience in teaching Cambridge Curriculum
- PGCE or equivalent
- Phonics experience
- The ability to teach French is an advantage.
