Teaching Assistant Cover People are currently recruiting for a TA for a full-time role in a Primary School in Stockport, Heaton Mersey to start ASAP and continue until December 2023, the role will then be reviewed with potential of continuing for another term for the right person. The Role A primary school in Stockport is currently looking for a TA to provide support both inside and outside the classroom. The candidate will be expected to support the children in there learning and should be able to confidently follow lesson plans to a high quality. You will have knowledge of the whole school curriculum as you may be required to work in multiple year groups. The candidate must have: • 6 months experience working with children • Experience and knowledge of supporting children with SEN / English as an additional language • Excellent behaviour management skills • Excellent communication skills • DBS on update register • References for last 2 years work history • Up to date CV The School The school is a 1 form entry and has been “Outstanding” for some years. The SLT are very supportive of personal development and may offer courses throughout the course of the academic year.
