Part time School Examinations Officer – Manchester I am currently looking for an experienced Examinations officer to start as soon as possible to support an independent school in south Manchester. The current examinations and data manager at the school is reducing their working hours to part time . The school are looking for a part time examinations officer to take on their duties. The role is 0.4 FTE but working hours may vary from week to week depending on the needs of the role. Exams Officer Familiar with Exams Organiser (EO) module in SIMS: Creating seasons within EO, including domestic seasons along with generic and student exam timetables Downloading exam season basedata from awarding bodies Entering candidates, creating marksheets & exam entry lists Creating candidate Statements of Entry Creation of seating plans, exam registers, etc. via Exams Organiser module Importing results, creating headline results and individual student statements of results Understanding and practical application of the JCQ requirements for the conduct of all external examinations Setting up exam rooms to meet JCQ regulations Recruitment, training, deployment and remuneration of exam invigilators The school Small Catholic independent school for pupils aged 3 – 18 Good Independent Schools Inspection May 2019 High achieving students Excellent facilities for teaching and learning The benefits Immediate start ongoing role Part time flexible role supporting the current exams officer Supportive Senior Leadership team Competitive Pay rates Initially on a temporary basis with a view to a permanent role.
