Job description:

We are seeking an experienced ICT teacher to join a dynamic school in Oman that uses the British curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Information and Communication Technology. This role involves delivering engaging and effective lessons to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the overall development of the school's ICT program. This opportunity is open to those who have taught abroad previously as well as teachers that are eager to embrace a new opportunity overseas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality ICT lessons.

  • Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of a diverse student body.

  • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and enhance learning.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive educational environment.

  • Stay updated with the latest developments in ICT education and integrate new technologies into the classroom.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Teaching certification or equivalent qualification.

  • Minimum of 5 years teaching experience. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
