HLTA Cover People are currently recruiting for a HLTA for a full-time role in a Primary School in Tameside from September 2023. The Role A Primary School based in Tameside are looking for an experienced HLTA to work across the whole school providing PPA cover, running booster classes and intervention programs. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent behaviour management and knowledge of the primary curriculum. Responsibilities • Plan and deliver age appropriate lessons across KS1 and KS2 proving cover for PPA • Plan and deliver booster classes to stretch the more able students • Cover ad-hoc classes due to sickness and other unexpected absence • Use of behaviour management strategies • Experience of working with SEN • Knowledge of whole school curriculum The school • “Good” on last Ofsted • High level EAL and SEN • Mixed catchment area • Experienced leadership team with clear plan for the future • Supportive and friendly staff • Team of professionals dedicated to bring out the potential in each child.
