An established international school in Cairo is seeking a passionate and experienced History/Humanities Teacher to join its dedicated Secondary team. The school follows the British Curriculum and is committed to fostering academic excellence, critical thinking, and global awareness. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality History/Humanities lessons in line with the British Curriculum.

  • Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that encourages analytical thinking and curiosity.

  • Plan and deliver creative lessons that support students’ historical understanding and humanities skill development.

  • Assess student progress effectively and provide meaningful feedback.

  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

  • Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and wider school initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification.

  • A degree in a relevant subject area.

  • Proven experience teaching within the British Curriculum (essential).

  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for developing students’ understanding of the humanities.
