There is potential for a Head of Department (HOD) role for suitable candidates. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Geography across the secondary school following the British curriculum (IGCSE & A Level)

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback

  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning

  • Take on HOD responsibilities if applicable

  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in whole-school initiatives

Requirements:

  • A subject-related Bachelor's degree with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching the British curriculum to IGCSE and A Level

  • Leadership experience or ambition (for those interested in HOD role)

  • Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
