Geography/Humanities HOD

Geography HOD - Malaysia Worldwide Teaching are recruiting on behalf of an international school based in Malaysia for a Geography HOD to join them in May 2022. This school was set up in 1996 as the first international school in its area. 25 years later, the School has grown to over 600 students, represented by 20 nationalities. The school is currently embarking on an exciting journey in educational growth and is seeking a confident and ambitious new recruit to add to their team. The school is based in a quiet area of Malaysia where the cost of living is very low and the local community is warm and welcoming. Expats and natives live and work alongside each other in harmony, and there is an abundance of nature to enjoy. Requirements: - PGCE or B.Ed - A minimum of 4 years teaching experience - Prior experience in a role with additional responsibilities is preferable Package: - 15-Step Scale which takes into consideration market position and annual inflation. - Fixed term contracts which will be for a period of 2 years and salary fixed for the 2- year term. - Housing allowance- Dependent on size of family - First two weeks in hotel - Medical care for whole family - Yearly flight allowance - EPF (Pension) - 100% tuition covered by employer for the first child and 50% for the second child.
