Finance Officer Tameside Cover People are recruiting on behalf of a small and friendly primary school based in Tameside for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in May 2021. The Role The Finance Officer will have experience of finance and or admin in schools. The role ideally is 37 hours although part time applicants will be considered. The School The school offers a broad, balanced and engaging curriculum challenges the children’s learning and understanding, provides opportunities for them to lead their own learning and encourages them to ask and answer their own questions. They believe it is vital that children co-operate and collaborate and that communication and teamwork are a vital part of human development. They encourage the development of these skills through a variety of lesson and learning structures. Requirements Must meet some or all of the below Purchase Ledger: Processing Purchase Orders and Invoices Supplier statements reconciliation Setting up new suppliers Processing expenses Reconciliation and processing credit card statements Sales Ledger: Processing Sales Invoices Counting, recording & receipting income Banking Credit Control Recording and monitoring Parent Pay Income Month end: Posting journals for month end recharges and adjustments Other: Providing admin assistance with trips and events, setting up Parent Pay to receive and monitor payments.
