Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and high-quality English language and literature lessons in line with the British Curriculum.
Plan and prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching materials for relevant grade levels.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records.
Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and intellectual curiosity.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance the English department and contribute to school-wide activities.
Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development sessions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, or a related field.
Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
Essential: Significant and demonstrable experience teaching English within the British Curriculum.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
