DT/Woodwork SEN Teacher Cover People are currently recruiting for a full time, DT SEN Teacher in an EBD, SMEH all boys provision in Tameside. The role is 2 to 3 days per week and immediate start. The Role The candidate must be an experienced Teacher with an abundance of experience in Special Educational Needs. The role will be to teach woodwork and DT to small groups of boys who have Emotional Behavioral Disorder, and social emotional and mental health issues. The days will be hands on and practical. We need someone who is going to invest in the boys and build a rapport in order to create a safe space to learn. The candidate must have: • 6 months experience working with children • Experience and knowledge of supporting children with SEN and complex needs • Excellent behaviour management skills • Excellent communication skills • DBS on update register • References for last 2 years work history • Up to date CV The School Children come to this School in order to access their unique curriculum which puts the needs of the individual child first.
