I am currently looking for a Technology Technician who is available from 19th April 2021 for a full time role in a secondary academy in Salford. The role Technology Technician 5 days a week 8am – 2:45pm with a 30 minute lunch Candidates should have practical carpentry, joinery and woodworking skills and a background of working in schools or colleges. Setting up equipment and resources for practical learning Managing the stock cupboards for resources and materials Working collaboratively with the technology department Supporting the teaching and learning of technology Experience of using 3D printers or CAD / CAM would be beneficial A COSHH qualification would be beneficial A clear enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service is essential The school Secondary Academy in Salford Good Ofsted Positive community focused school Excellent facilities for teaching and learning The benefits Competitive pay rates Supportive department and Senior Leadership team Ongoing full time role All candidates are subject to standard safeguarding and employment checks including a face to face interview (currently via video call) and DBS checks.
