DT (RM Specialist) Teacher Stockport Cover People are recruiting on behalf of a large school in the Stockport area. The role is starting from October Half term and will be ongoing for the 6 weeks and may extend. The Academy do pride themselves on their quality of teaching and learning, and have a excellent team of DT teachers. The Role The successful DT Teacher will be required to support students in a whole class and on a 1:1 basis. The core subjects you will be teaching are RM and DT. There are some students within the Academy require help in accessing the National Curriculum as they are EAL students. This role involves the use of machinery which will require experience and insurance (provided by the school) The School The school offers a highly modern department with interactive white boards and brand new RM equipment and offer pupils RM at KS4 and at KS5. They believe it is vital that students co-operate and collaborate and that communication and teamwork are a vital part of young people’s development. They encourage the development of these skills through engaging and inspiring lessons.
