Job Title: Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

School Description:
A British International School in Cairo is seeking a qualified Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to join the school from August 2026. The school follows the British curriculum and places a strong emphasis on safeguarding and student wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage safeguarding procedures across the school
- Act as the main point of contact for safeguarding concerns
- Provide safeguarding training and support to staff
- Maintain accurate safeguarding records and ensure compliance with policies
- Teach a small timetable (10–15% teaching load)
Requirements:
- A degree with a recognised teaching qualification
- A minimum of two years of teaching experience within the British curriculum
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: £40,000 per annum (Tax Free) – 70% paid in GBP, 30% paid in EGP
