Cover Supervisors and Graduates Cover People are recruiting on behalf of a several schools in the Trafford are for Graduates and Cover Supervisors to help support their schools. The roles will often involve leading whole classes as well as small focus groups support. To nurture young people’s love of learning and to give you a flavour of a career in education. The Role The successful Graduate/ Cover Supervisor will be required to lead whole classes, with set work provided. The successful Cover Supervisor/ Graduate will be able to keep students engaged with the set resources and learning left by the usual teacher.  The schools welcomes applications from Teaching Assistants too, especially those experienced in working with students which challenging behaviour, as well as those experienced with working with students who are working below the National average. Your hours can vary day to day and week to week. This role would certainly suit a recent grauate or those studying to gain an extra avenue for income. However, we are also asked for long term Cover Supervisors as well. The School The schools all offer a broad, balanced and engaging curriculum challenges the children’s learning and understanding, provides opportunities for them to lead their own learning and encourages them to ask and answer their own questions. It would be desirable for you to have a subject specialism for example a degree in a core subject and some in class experience, however if you do not have a degree but have been working as a Cover Supervisor for another agency or based within a school- please still apply!
