Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to students
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum and lesson plans
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support
- Utilise technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive educational experience
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS) or equivalent
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and commitment to student success
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Previous experience teaching Computer Science at secondary school level
- Up-to-date knowledge of Computer Science curriculum and educational trends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Education
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Experience with assessment and data-driven instruction
Working Conditions:
