Cover People have a new and exciting opportunity for a Candidate Consultant in their Manchester branch. Trainee Applicants and experienced Consultants are welcome to apply as the role is open to all, with an excellent salary to suit experience.

The Role  

  • You will be responsible for supporting the education sales team, recruiting for Primary, Secondary and SEN (Special Education Needs) Teachers and Support Staff, using several sources including Job Boards, our own website, and the extensive database.   

  • You will support the sales team by effectively resourcing excellent quality candidates, whilst supporting the Compliance Officer to ensure the candidate are compliant to work 

  • Daily CV searching, calling, and booking in candidates in for registration meetings  

  • Daily advert writing and posting 

  • Answering and dealing with telephone enquiries 

  • Holding telephone, virtual and face-to-face registration 

  • Providing a high-quality service during the entire onboarding process 

  • Verify documents as per Apsco auditing guidelines and Safeguarding guidelines 

  • Adhering to the Keeping Children Safe in Education guidelines and making safer recruitment decisions  

  • Proactively sourcing candidates to hit KPI targets 

  • Confidently writing profiles to highlight the candidate’s key skills and attributes  

  • Provide advice on market conditions, CV and interview techniques and manage expectations  

  • Work as an integral member of a team, motivating one another and communicating effectively 

  • Full training will be provided with the opportunity to progress as the branch grows
