I am currently looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or experienced Teaching assistant or cover supervisor to work as an assistant Alternative Provision manager for a full time role in a secondary school on the Manchester/Rochdale The role Full time senior teaching assistant supporting students with behaviour and other additional needs including SEMH I am looking for someone with experience of- Supporting teenagers with autism or Asperger's or ASD Supporting teenagers with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties A background in social care such as children's social worker, family support or adults with mental health would also be considered Five days a week The role is working with students who spend some or all of their school day in the alternative provision. It will also involve deputising for the AP manager in the event of their absence and supporting other LSAs in the Alternative provision to ensure students received appropriate support.
