Academic Mentors Required Cover People are recruiting on behalf of a large and outstanding college in Manchester for Academic Mentors to join their team in September 2021. This is an exciting and diverse opportunity which would suit a recent graduate or experienced secondary/6th form TA. This could be an excellent opportunity for someone considering a move into teaching. The Role The successful Academic Mentor will be required to support students within a full class and smaller focus groups. The students are within Year 12 and Year 13 and require excellent communication skills and creative resource making skills to enable students to access the best future pathways. The schools welcomes applications from recent graduates and those experienced in mentoring. Some students have lower academic abilities, who will require 1:1 and small group focused work.
