A British International School in Chengdu is seeking an experienced Secondary Head of Department (HOD) to join from August 2026. The school follows the British curriculum and offers a supportive international teaching environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a secondary department
Oversee curriculum planning and delivery
Support and mentor teaching staff
Monitor student progress and academic performance
Contribute to whole-school leadership and strategic initiatives
Requirements:
A relevant degree and recognised teaching qualification
Minimum of two years’ experience as a Secondary HOD within an international school
Strong leadership and curriculum experience
Prior leadership experience is advantageous
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: ¥500,000 – ¥650,000 RMB per annum
