Science Teacher Required - South Manchester
Cover People are recruiting on behalf of a large and school in South Manchester for a Science Teacher on a full-time basis. This is a long term position which will last until the December break, and likely for the rest of the academic year.
The successful Science Teacher will be required to support full classes of 25+ and help students on a 1:1 basis where required. The students are studying GCSE and require a qualified teacher of Science to support them.
The schools welcomes applications from Teachers that are ECT and those with experience. You will be teaching both KS3 and KS4 Science.
The school have recently modernised their building and are improving the quality of learning, behaviour as a result is rapidly improving too. The school is widely regarded as one of the best in the area and is OFSTED rated good. The school offers a broad, balanced and engaging curriculum challenges the children’s learning and understanding, provides opportunities for them to lead their own learning and encourages them to ask and answer their own questions.
Requirements:
•PGCE QTS or NARRIC
•Science Degree (ideally)
•Experience teaching KS4 Science
•Excellent track history in teaching
