A British International School in Chengdu, China is seeking an experienced Head of Boarding to join from August 2026. The school follows the British curriculum and offers a high-quality international education within a supportive boarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the boarding provision across the school
Oversee student welfare, safeguarding, and pastoral care
Support the personal, social, and academic development of boarding students
Manage boarding staff and contribute to their professional development
Ensure high standards of care, wellbeing, and boarding operations
Requirements:
A minimum of two years' experience serving as a Head of Boarding within an international school setting
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Experience in pastoral care and student wellbeing
Previous leadership experience within a boarding environment is essential
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: ¥500,000 – ¥600,000 RMB per annum
Accommodation: Accommodation provided
