We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join a dynamic team at an esteemed international school in Bahrain. Following the American curriculum, the institution is proudly accredited by Middle States Accreditation and Cognia. The ideal candidate for this role would be an enthusiastic and innovative educator with a strong background in Business Studies and a passion for teaching. We are open to applications from teachers who have taught abroad previously as well as those who are keen to explore a new adventure overseas!
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Business Studies for high school students.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the American educational standards.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or American curriculum school.
- Strong knowledge of business concepts and the ability to teach them in an engaging manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
